MWA Grant Program
 

MWA's Grant Program has hit the maximum amount of designated funds, check back July 1, 2008 to apply.

Now entering its fourth year, the MWA Grant Program offers a reimbursement (up to $2,500 per project) to schools, businesses, public and private groups/clubs, and neighborhood associations for projects with an environmental focus, from litter clean-ups to school recycling programs. Individuals are not eligible.

Metro Waste Authority has begun accepting grant applications for the 2007-2008 fiscal year. Please click on the following link for a copy of the 2007-2008 Grant Application.

Since 2001, MWA has provided more than $1.8 million to its member communities through grants for beautification and waste reduction and diversion.

Projects that qualify for funding include promotion of residential curbside recycling/resident education; waste reduction; beautification; yard waste/use of compost; conservation and sustainability; and litter and illegal dumping prevention/clean up. These projects must take place within MWA's service area
