Computers and televisions are quickly being replaced with newer models - leaving businesses in Central Iowa with stockpiles of items and many questions about what to do with their old equipment. E-waste materials collected at the RCC are shipped to the Waste Commission of Scott County where they are demanufactured and the hard drives are shredded for data security.
