PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Are you passionate about finding fulfillment in a career where you can really make an impact? Metro Waste Authority in Des Moines is now taking applications for the position of Program Coordinator. As a valued team player, your excellent communication skills will be used in a fast paced environment to manage and promote our programs, including:
- Residential waste and recycling
- Community education and outreach
- Content development for our website
- Writing materials for electronic/social & news media
- Serving as liaison to recycling vendors
- Organizing, staffing & promoting internal/external special events
- Supporting internal teams as the recycling knowledge expert
Your developed expertise will report quality details on program activities, statistics, needs, goals, and objectives….you can make a difference in communities and environment!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from accredited four (4) year college or university with major course work in marketing, public relations, or related field including related internship or project management experience. Additional work experience may be substituted for the required education.
- Two (2) years of experience in positions that included program management, marketing, and/or public relations.
- Valid state of Iowa Motor Vehicle Operator’s license required.
