The following items are not landfilled at Metro Park East:

• Animal carcasses
• Hazardous materials, including pesticides, varnishes, flammable materials,
  PCB's, Freon, and Mercury
• Lead acid batteries
• Used oil filters from commercial and industrial sources
• Waste oil

The following items are not landfilled but are accepted at Metro Park East:

• Appliances
• Waste tires (unless shredded or cut)
• Yard Waste
