Metro Waste Authority wants to honor businesses, organizations, and/or residents who continuously work to take care of Central Iowa’s environment.
We want to recognize people and organizations that have taken steps to make change. This could be things like forming Green Teams at your business, starting a recycling program, conducting a clean-up event, planting natural habitat, implementing new ways to reduce energy use or generally being an advocate for the earth.
You can nominate yourself or your organization or have a friend or colleague submit on your behalf. Please forward this information to anyone who might have an interest or know someone who would be a great nominee.
