Educational Materials Kits
 

The Water Trunks are packed with materials to use with your students as you teach about water, pollution, recycling, and taking care of our environment. The Trash and Treasure Trunk explores recycling, composting, landfilling, and proper household hazardous waste disposal. In each trunk, you will find some of the following items:

  • Environment-related literature
  • Books of science experiments
  • Videos
  • Games
  • Hands-on activities
  • Picture cards
  • Career information
  • Teacher resource notebook full of activity ideas and reproducibles to use with your class

Three Water Trunks are available:

  • Kindergarten to Grade 2 Trunk
  • Grades 3 to 6 Trunk
  • Grades 5 to 8 Trunk

The Trash and Treasure Trunk is available for Grades 3 to 6.

 

Reservations
Each trunk may be reserved for one month. Trunks will be delivered and picked up from your school. Contact Gail Peckumn at (515) 283-8753 to reserve a Water Trunk. Contact Mary Gillaspey at (515) 323-6505 to reserve the Trash and Treasure Trunk.
