Dehumidifiers - Dehumidifiers are considered appliances and can be taken to the MPE Landfill for a $10 recycling fee.

Dishwashers - Dishwashers are considered appliances and can be taken to the MPE Landfill for a $10 recycling fee.

Drain cleaners - Drain cleaners can be taken to the Regional Collection Center.

Driveway sealer - Driveway sealer can be taken to the Regional Collection Center.

Dusty wastes - Dusty wastes may be accepted at the MPE Landfill with proper permitting. See the special waste page for more information.

 

 

Epoxy - Epoxy can be taken to the Regional Collection Center.

Electronics- Electronics can be taken to the Regional Collection Center where they are recycled for $0.50 per pound.

Explosives/Ammunition - Call the local law enforcement for proper disposal of explosives and ammunition.

 

 

Fertilizers - Fertilizers can be taken to the Regional Collection Center.

Flares/emergency road flares - Call the local law enforcement for proper disposal of flares and emergency road flares.

Filters - Filters may be accepted at the MPE Landfill with proper permitting. See the special waste page for more information.

Fire extinguishers - Call the local fire department or a fire equipment company to dispose of extinguishers.

Floor care products - Floor care products can be taken to the Regional Collection Center.

Fluorescent Light bulbs - All Fluorescent bulbs should be recycled at the Regional Collection Center. There are a few different types of fluorescent bulbs. One is the compact fluorescent (CFLs, the swirl bulb); another is the 4 ft and 8 ft tubes like you may see in a shop, garage, or storage; another are high intensity discharge (HID) lamps such as metal halide, mercury vapor and high pressure sodium lamps; there are also some neon lights that fall into this category. 

Freezers - Freezers are considered appliances and can be taken to the MPE Landfill for a $10 recycling fee.

Fungicide - Fungicide can be taken to the Regional Collection Center.

Furnaces - Furnaces are considered appliances and can be taken to the MPE Landfill for a $10 recycling fee.

Furniture - Large items such as furniture may be taken to the MPE Landfill. For curbside service, residents will need to contact their city hall or garbage hauler. (See community pages)

Furniture polish - Furniture polish can be taken to the Regional Collection Center.
