Wood - Clean wood (all nails removed, not rotted, no masonite
siding, no cedar shingles) is accepted at MWA's Metro
Recycling Center if it meets certain standards. Call ahead at
262-4040 for specific information.
Wood fencing - Wood fencing is accepted at MWA's Metro
Recycling Center if there are no rails and all nails are removed.
Wood Pallets - If nails are removed and the pallets are
taken apart, the pieces are accepted at the Metro
Recycling Center. If the pallets are intact, they can be taken
to the Metro Park East Landfill.
