The number of Metro Waste Authority’s free recycling drop-offs rivals Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter set list!
We may not be offering hits like Jolene and Levii’s Jeans, but our list of recycling options is just as impressive. Think plastics with twist-off lids, tin cans, junk mail, glass, and cardboard. With more than 30 locations throughout Central Iowa, you’re sure to find one that’s your jam.
Most residents in the metro enjoy the convenience of recycling collection curbside. However, for those with an overflowing cart, residents who live in an apartment building or people from rural areas without services – free recycling drop-offs are for you! Even small businesses are welcome to use them.
We tip our hats to the cities hosting these free drop-offs to make them convenient and accessible to residents. No matter where you call home, you can use any drop-off in any city!
