Have you ever wondered where your trash ends up when it leaves the curb? Now’s your chance! Join us for a free driving tour of Metro Park East Landfill, the largest landfill in Iowa. Pull the kids away from the TV to enjoy a short audio tour and scavenger hunt, all in the comfort of your own vehicle.

As you tour, you can listen to audio from our website (coming soon!) giving you details about each stop. We’ll have a garbage truck, big equipment, and interesting recycling initiatives on display!
