THE SPICE
Grow Gold Compost has many nourishing qualities that are sure to wrap your lawn and garden projects like your comfiest sweater. Since it’s made from materials rich in nitrogen and carbon, it is an all-natural soil enhancement that will add nutrients to your projects and help them retain water. This means, you can fall back from frequent watering and chemical fertilizer.
CHOOSE YOUR HAYRIDE
Compost is easy to apply, but the hayride you choose will have its own turns to take to reach your desired destination.
HAYRIDE 1: Establish a new lawn
Before seeding, create a mixture of 1-2 inches of compost with the top 3-5 inches of soil. Once seeded, apply ½ inch of the mixture to the surface of the area per week.
HAYRIDE 2: Maintain your lawn
Top with ¼ inch of compost after aerating, once or twice per year.
HAYRIDE 3: Flower + Vegetable Gardens
A few weeks prior to planting, apply a mixture of 1-2 inches of compost and 3-5 inches of soil.
