Liquid Household Cleaning Products

To identify a hazardous product, check the label for words such as toxic, corrosive, flammable or “keep out of reach of children”. These materials are considered hazardous waste and DON’T BELONG in your regular trash and SHOULD NOT be put down the drain. Properly disposing of these items benefits everyone – including the environment.

Non-hazardous household liquid cleaners can be poured down the drain if they do not contain hazardous materials. Be sure to pour one cup of material down the drain and let the water run for one minute. Do not pour multiple products down the drain at once. Once bottle is empty, you an twist the cap back on and recycle in your curbside recycling.
