Books are recyclable!
Those books that have been sitting on the shelf far too long or are missing a few pages are accepted in your Curb It! cart. While they are made of paper and welcome in your Curb It! cart, please keep in mind books can get heavy. If you find yourself wanting to recycle quite a few of your old books, we ask you limit the number you put in your recycling cart at one time. This helps us ensure our recycling trucks are able to pick up your cart without damaging the mechanical arm on the truck.
If your books are in good condition, consider donating them instead. You never know what someone else might be looking for.
